Workflow: incident

In an incident, time is short and duties are several. The flow shows which notification duties may trigger at once, which article carries each, and where the deadline is written, so no duty is discovered after the clock has run out.

The steps

  • 1. Establish what happened and which data, systems and people are affected.
  • 2. Test which regimes may trigger notification at once: data protection, cybersecurity, product safety, sector rules.
  • 3. Fetch the article carrying the duty in each regime, and the deadline written there.
  • 4. Note the recipient per duty: supervisory authority, data subjects, market surveillance or customer.
  • 5. Store the timeline with reading date and address per row, for the review afterwards.

What is usually missed

  • That several duties run in parallel with different deadlines and different recipients.
  • That the deadline often runs from awareness, not from when the fault arose.
  • That a supplier may have its own duty to notify you, which starts your clock.

Surfaces used

  • Obligations per role, for the duties in each regime.
  • The article node, for the verbatim heading and the route to the source.
  • The timeline surface, for when a requirement started to apply.

The NovaCopilot models

The decision model

In: A role, a legal act and the situation in plain words.

Out: The obligations that reach the role, the article behind them and what remains.

When: When the question is whether a requirement applies to you, and why.

The difference model

In: A checksum already used and the date of the last reading.

Out: What changed since then: checksum, reading date, passed deadline and rows to revisit.

When: When earlier work is reused and has to be checked first.

The obligation model

In: A legal act or an article, with or without a role filter.

Out: The obligation in the register's wording, the role it reaches, canonical address and reading date.

When: When the answer has to be citable article by article.

Example for an agent

curl -s "https://legal.exploreworldai.com/novacopilot/arbetsflode-incident?format=agent"
  • canonical, the address to cite
  • node_hash, the checksum for the next comparison
  • corpus_version, the corpus version that answered
  • freshness.read_at, the reading date of the row
  • freshness.next_check, when a new check is reasonable
  • citation.string, the finished citation
  • agent.receipt, the receipt of the call, without a key

Source registers

The same material as registers, with read date and source on every row.

FAQ

Does the flow give exact clock times?
It gives the deadline as written in the article. Calculating it in your case is your work, preferably with counsel.
Are sector rules covered?
The register carries the acts in the EU layer. A missing sector rule is written out as a gap.
Can the flow run from our own system?
Yes, via the agent surface, with receipt and hash so the timeline can be shown later.
